Description
Love the taste of a full body coffee but not the caffeine? Try our decaffeinated Peruvian Single Origin Coffee. Decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process . Environmentally friendly and 100% chemical free the Swiss Water process uses Green Coffee Extract (GCE) which is crafted from natural water soluble compound found in green coffee beans to decaffeinate the coffee.
The caffeine then slowly starts to separate from the coffee over and into the GCE bath. This ensure the amazing flavor of salted caramel and sweet citrus remains. Just like our Peruvian Single Origin Coffee, this decaffeinated coffee is a sure hit.

Learn More About Decaf Coffee From Peru
JUMARP, or La Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco “El Palto,” brings together farmers from the El Palto area in the Yamón district of the Utcubamba province, located in the Amazonas region of northern Peru. Founded in 2003 by José Carranza Barboza and 35 smallholder farmers, JUMARP emerged with the vision of creating a new model for growing and exporting coffee, including a robust program for quality enhancement. Since coffee production in the region began in the 1950s, farming practices had heavily relied on agro-chemicals. Over decades, the founding members recognized the strength in unity for commercializing their coffee and decided to pursue sustainable coffee production that harmonizes with the native forest.
The coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process. Hydrated green coffee beans are introduced to Green Coffee Extract (GCE), which extracts the caffeine while preserving the original flavor compounds.
Once the caffeine has been eliminated, the green coffee is subjected to a re-drying process and then packaged for transport. To extract the caffeine, the Green Coffee Extract is passed through specialized carbon filters and the residue is reused.
