The Sette 30 is an economical grinder to initialize an espresso journey, compatible with both rudimentary and sophisticated espresso makers. It offers 31 graduated levels of coarseness via its macro-only adjustment. Featuring the S1 burr, an element exclusive to our premium Sette 270/270W grinders, this model yields a consistently impeccable espresso grind. Furthermore, it is suitable for manual brewing techniques necessitating a finer grind, e.g. AeroPress and Hario V60, to produce an even-flavored result.
Developed over eight years in Liechtenstein, this innovation sets a model of convenience, productivity, and longevity. This pioneering pattern has the outer burr turning while the inner burr is static, revolutionizing the industry. Its design exponentially accelerates the efficiency of grinders of similar size. Grounds are directly emitted into the bin or portafilter, uninterrupted. The Sette 30 has a stationary device holder that allows you to remove and reorient the arms to grind directly into the supplied grounds bin or a portafilter – a standout feature amongst all other home grinders.
Grinding Mechanisim
The Sette Series has, at its core, a revolutionarygrinding mechanism that produces game-changing performance. Key aspects of thisinnovative mechanism include:
- Straight-thru vertical transports and grindingof the beans (highly efficient and results inminimal residual coffee in the system).
- Rotation of the outer ring burr (with twicethe surface area of the cone burr) alongwith proprietary tooth geometry, producesgrinding thru-put that is two to three timesthat of others in its class.
- Proprietary gear box (planetary + crowngear) that maximizes efficiency oftorque transfer, resulting in lower powerconsumption and much less heat.
