The Ratio Six coffee maker is constructed of durable, precisely-stamped stainless steel with either a satin stainless steel or matte black finish. It includes laboratory-grade handcrafted borosilicate glass water lines and a BPA-free copolymer water tank that is marked for 2 to 8 cups of water with an accuracy of +/- 1 ounce. The tank stores up to 44 ounces/1.3 liters of water, but roughly 10% of the volume is absorbed by the coffee grounds, resulting in a brewed coffee output of approximately 40 ounces
This one-of-a-kind Ratio Six heat shield completely surrounds the shower head, resulting in maximum extraction and a hot-brewed cup of coffee that meets industry standards. With a brewing temperature reaching nearly 200°F, your coffee may be just the right amount of hot. For those that favor extra-warm beverages or take milk/cream, the heat shield offers an ideal brewing experience. If a more open-style brewing is desired, simply disconnect the silicone heat shield from the lid and reconnect at any time.
